A: Aetherkind is based in beautiful Colorado, but our work takes us to realms near and far. We regularly travel for events, productions, and storytelling sessions — so if you have a distant castle, enchanted forest, or bustling market square in mind, let’s talk.
A: While Aetherkind specializes in fantasy-inspired projects, we also offer traditional photo and video coverage through our sister brand, 42 at Vesper. That brand is tailored toward classic weddings, elopements, and love stories, as well as traditional engagement sessions, portrait sessions, and small family sessions. Whether your vision is rooted in myth and magic or timeless romance, we have a team and a style designed for your story.
A: Beyond our years of professional experience, we’re storytellers first. Every image and film we craft is built around character, mood, and narrative. We also compose original scores for our cinematic films, ensuring each project feels like a world of its own.

A: Because many of our projects are custom and travel-based, we recommend reaching out as early as possible — especially for large events and festival seasons. From May through September, our weekends are typically booked out one to two years in advance. Off season bookings (November-March) are much more available as well as weekdays year-round! We’ll always do our best to accommodate your timeline, but please reach out as soon as possible to discuss your scheduling options!
A: Yes! We love collaborating with fellow fantasy artisans, event planners, costumers, and performers. You’ll find some of our favorite makers and dreamers in our Gathering Hall — a collection of partner brands and creators we trust.
A: Absolutely. Whether you arrive with a fully-formed quest log or just a spark of an idea, we’re happy to assist with story concepts, location scouting, wardrobe suggestions, and scene design to bring your vision to life.
A: We keep a small collection of props and accessories on hand — including swords, cloaks, vintage candlesticks, lanterns, mirrors, and furniture — that you’re welcome to use during your session. When it comes to full costumes, we leave that in your hands so you can choose pieces that fit you perfectly and match the exact look and quality you envision. If you need recommendations for trusted makers or shops, we’re happy to connect you with some of our favorite artisans through our Gathering Hall.
A: We don’t provide hair and makeup services directly, but we work alongside some truly talented artists who specialize in both traditional and fantasy-inspired looks. We’re happy to share our list of recommended stylists and makeup artists to help you find the perfect fit for your session.
